Rhino command: JewelEdit
The editing of jewels can be started with the command or by double clicking the crystals. By starting with the command, the crystal to be edited must be selected, by double clicking the crystal double clicked will be edited. Once in the edit mode, the next crystal to be edited must be selected.
During editing every setting can be changed. If the size is changed, a new entry in the BOM list will be added.
ATTENTION: The plugin allows only available crystals, therefore only color / size combinations according to the availability chart are selectable.
Depending on the links and the editing level, linked crystals will move accordingly to the position of the edited crystal. The editing level can be changed with the hot key
F-Key
.
The color of the links change according to the distance between the crystal:
Green = correct distance
Blue = distance too big
Yellow-Red = distance too small
Be careful with fast movements, because the calculation of the neighbors can cause overlaps and result in a wrong setting. The editing can be canceled with the ESC-Key
If there are already pips placed and they are also linked to the crystals, they will move also according to the linked crystals.
This display appears during add/edit of crystals or pips. Within this display the parameter for manual setting of crystals/pips can be modified directly (place cursor above value and rotate mouse wheel) or with hot keys and mouse wheel. If you use the hot keys the corresponding value will be highlighted in the Head Up Display.
