Cost Calculation

Rhino command: JewelCostCalculation

With the cost calculation you can get an overview of 3d printing costs, gluing cost and crystal costs. Various calculation parameters can be entered and an overview as excel can be exported.

Parameter: In this section all cost parameters must be entered for the calculation.
Printing Setup Costs: Absolut costs for the 3D printer per item which is not volume or time depended.
Build Volume Costs: Costs for 3D printing which depends on the overall build volume. This can be used to cut down the operating costs on each printed part.
Material Costs: Costs for the printed material. Base for the calculation is the volume of the geometry.
Plating Costs: Costs for the plating or painting. Base for the calculation is the area of the geometry.
Gluing Setup Costs: Absolut costs for the gluing which is not crystal or time depended.
Glue Costs: Costs for gluing for each crystal. This can be glue costs or personnel costs.

3D Printing Costs: Summary of the costs regarding the 3D printing.

Glue Costs: Summary of the costs regarding the gluing.

Crystals: Summary of the crystal costs. The price information is fetched from SAP directly and are customer prices without any discount.

Total Sum: The total sum of all costs.

Control: In this section you can export the cost calculation to excel or close the dialog.
